You may request an increase to your SBA disaster loan by submitting a written request within two years of the date on your Loan Authorization and Agreement. Your request should be forwarded to your disaster loan servicing center and should include the following:
- A written request with a brief explanation as to why the increase is necessary.
- Form 4506-Cfor all borrowers and any affiliated business entities. IRS Form 4506-C Instructions
- Supporting documentation such as a breakdown of the actual cost, a contractor's estimate, or a contract for repairs (made subject to SBA approval).
- A Total Project Cost (TPC) estimate substantiated by supporting documentation (if applicable).
